My exam at clinic
My pelvic exam is broken up into three parts because each part is so different. The first part of it is my rectal exam & radiology studies of my lower colon. The second part is my bladder exam & x-rays of my bladder. The last part is my vaginal exam & ultrasound. I was told to give myself an enema before I came so I would be clean for the
rectal exam. When I first got there, the nurse led me
into a room with a special table called a proctology table.
he told me to take off all my clothes. So, I did that.
There was no gown. I guess women are exam ed nude in miltary clinic.
The table was shaped like a “Z” with a footrest for me to rest
my knees on & I put my chest down on the table. We use the
knee-chest position for this procedure because it works best
to introduce air into your bottom to dilate it. I climbed on
the table completely nude, for him to look at me. I’m going
to tilt the table downwards at 45 degrees. The nurse tilted
the table forward with my head down & my butt up in the air.
he d****d my back with a blanket so I didn’t get cold &
d****d my legs. The area between my lower back & vagina was
completely exposed.
I'm just going to do a visual exam right now. I'll be using
a light with a special lens to take a close look at your anus
and perineum. he started by injecting a bunch of lubricant into
my butt with a syringe for the procedures and slowly inserted him
middle finger to spread the lubricant around in my bottom & coat
the walls.
he took my temperature with a very long thimmometer that went up
to my belly button. It didn’t hurt, but it scared me because it went
in so far. he left me alone for about 10 minutes with the thimmometer
sticking in my butt. I dozed off. The nurse came in & took out the
long thimmometer.
he stretched open my butt real wide with him thumbs and told me to bear down
like I was having a bowl movement. My butt opened a little bit. he brought an
overhead light down real close to me, so he could see inside. I felt the heat
of the lamp, but it wasn’t uncomfortable.
The manual examination is to check the vaginal-rectal wall for any
abnormalities and make sure it is okay to proceed with the scope exam.
he put him lubricated finger in my butt & felt all around inside along
the walls & my uterus. he inserted a second finger & separated them a little bit.
It didn’t hurt, as I was getting a real good finger job out of it.
The exam was smooth, deep and not done in a hurry. The nurse’s latexed long slender
fingers examined the first four inches or so of my rectum and then puhed in a
little deeper. he puhed him fingers farthim
inside me and slowly began to feel around in a circular pattern. he began to separate
them inside me, stretching my anus. Then he put the tips of two fingers into my bottom
& stretched them open a little bit under the light.
he put a lubricated retractor in my bottom & pulled it towards my spine.
Lots of air went in thime. I was blown up like a balloon. I had no idea
that my butt stretched open that far. The nurse held the retractor open while
looking inside me with anothim light. A few seconds later, my sphincter began
to relax. he removed the retractor and my anal opening shrunk back to normal size.
You have a lovely anus. Everything looks very pink and healthy. I am going to
examine your anus, rectum and lower colon with a lighted scope. I was fascinated
by the shiny scopes that he had laid out on the equipment table. They were
professional equipment and I picked up the smallest and was surprised at how heavy
it was. It was also tapered and was surprisingly big at its base. The largest of the
three was really large, at least 15" long, and unlike the othim two it had an
electrical cord and a squeeze bulb, like an inflating nozzle.
I heard the door handle and quickly put the thing back on the table.
I didn’t want him to know that I was looking at him stuff. The nurse said
that he was going to be using these three scopes to examine me today and
each of them has the ability to see furthim up into my rectum.
This is an anoscope. As you can see it is fairly short and stubby.
It will allow me to check the distal end of your rectal canal.
I felt the tip wiggle up into the opening of my anus then, it just went in.
It was cool and felt good. I felt him manipulating it and he said,
I took out the obturator and your anal area looks fine. I felt my anus
close shut when he pulled out the anoscope. I watched as the nurse
lubricated the entire length of the shaft of the long scope.
Now thime are a couple of turns in I have to negotiate, The rectum takes a
sharp turn toward your left side a few inches up, so you'll feel me maneuvering
the scope around the bend. I felt the scope slide up my behind and stretch open
my sphincter muscle. The cold slimy tube poked past my sphincter and slid all the
way up my rectum without stopping. When the instrument reached my colon, it kept
going for several more inches.
The proctoscope was a long thin cylinder as big around as a man’s forefinger
and twelve inches long. It had all but disappeared inside my butt and barely
an inch protruded from my anus while the nurse looked in my bottom. I could
hear the nurse pull the center portion out of the scope & turn on the overhead light.
The nurse explained that he was going to inflate my bowel with some air to open
them up and take some pictures. I could feel bubbles of air go up inside me. It felt
really weird but it didn't hurt. I had a fullness similar to an enema but without
the urgency to expel.
he moved the air hose in and out for several minutes, stretching my rectum first
this way then that, making careful observations. I'm pumping some air into you so
I can see whime I am going. As the scope was advanced it felt good. It reminded me
when I was a k** getting my rectal temperature taken over & over again. Then I felt
him withdrawing the scope and heard the air escaping from my bottom. I said, thank
you to the nurse.
he folded back a towel and in a neat row were six glass dilators. They were
quite shaped like test tubes but a bit more pointed on the end. The smallest
was about the size of a thumb. there was a camera mounted over my bottom so I
could see what he was doing on the monitor. I saw the nurse’s thumb and forefinger
come into view and I could see my cheeks being spread open. But now I saw the
tip of the dilator on the monitor. It looked big on the screen and it was covered
with lubricant.
The tip disappeared and I felt the dilator poke in the center of my anus and
as it disappeared from the screen. I could feel it slide up inside me. I could
see the nurse’s othim hand holding it in place. This was repeated with the next
4 dilators, each one stretching me just a bit more. I found myself very aroused
once again. Dilator 5, was still in my bottom, and the nurse withdrew it very slowly.
he lubricated dilator 6 and I watched on the screen as he began to insert it.
Number 6 was now removed and he picked up the flexible scope. I watched the whirl
of activity on the monitor screen and now I saw my buttocks from a different angle.
I felt my bottom being parted, but this time I could see my anus in the center of
the monitor screen. It looked a bit like a shiny target that was getting bigger and
bigger as the device got closer to my body. Contact. I felt the cold end pushing
against my anus and it looked as if the device was entering a pink tunnel. I felt
the apparatus slide into me. I opened my eyes and saw nothing but wet pink on the
screen. The nurse gently withdrew the scope and his fingers very gently. The nurse
said he would move the instrument up to the junction of my transverse colon.
Then I felt him withdrawing the scope and heard the air escaping from my bottom.
I said, thank you to the nurse. I sat on the toilet for five minutes letting the
air drain out of me. The nurse had me put my hands on my knees while he put his
finger into my bottom and retracted towards my spine to let some more air out of
my bottom. It didn’t hurt, but I walked around all day with my butt dilated and
passing air.Cystoscopy exam- The nurse said that he was going to do urodynamic
testing first with water before the cysto exam to wash out my bladder. he held
my labia open to expose my urethra and swabbed me with a Betadine solution. Next,
he took the Foley catheter and inserted it into me and inflated the balloon. Then
he inserted a "wire lead" inside me with the catheter and taped it to my vulva
to keep it in place. The nurse took a strange balloon probe on a tube and inserted
it into my rectum. Then he told me he had to inflate the balloon inside my rectum
with water. The second nurse held my knees up to my chest as the first nurse put on
exam gloves and took some strange looking instruments out of the drawers. he
stretched open my vagina real wide & held it open so the first nurse could see
inside and get the instruments in ok.
he brought the light down real close. First he did a vaginal exam tracing
all my muscles and asking me to squeeze and push out several times. Then he
inserted what looked like a speculum with only the bottom blade on it. What
it did was push my lower vagina and perineum down to expose my urethra and
vagina. he inserted a small scope into me to view the bladder. This wasn't
painful at all. he asked me if it hurt and I said no.
For the cysto exam, they took me into a different room. In the center of the
room was a small examination table with adjustable, elevated leg rests. An open
door off to the side of the room led into a small lavatory. Your legs will be
up in the stirrups momentarily & the Johnny is just to keep your chest warm.
About ten minutes elapsed and a young nurse named Greta entered the exam room.
he was blond and about 26 years old. he had flowered surgical scrubs on and
was very cute.
The room had a surgical counter with all kinds of instruments on trays. I saw the
cystoscopes on a rack. They were black and long with about a 1/8-inch tube and a
viewing scope on the end. At the end of the room was a chair and then in the middle
of the room was a Ritter Evolution 75 adjustable table. The table was gray padded
with white paper covering it. The table was electric and could be adjusted many
different ways. he then adjusted the angle of the table backwards so I was tilted
back at about 45 degrees. The headrest and pillow were adjusted.
he washed him hands and put on a fresh pair of exam gloves. he picked up a
syringe filled with a clear gel. he told me that it was a topical that would
be injected into my urethra to numb the area before inserting the scope. he
inserted the tip of the syringe. he injected the contents into my urethra tube.
he said that he would let the numbing gel take effect and be back in a few minutes.
he came back in about 10 minutes and used the cystoscope that was hooked to a
light source and large IV bag. he told me that the bag contained sterile saline
with an antibiotic that would be used to irrigate the urethra and bladder.
he proceeded to insert the scope into my bladder. Once inside my bladder
he said that he was going to start filling me up and I would have an urge to pee.
It was an almost erotic feeling as he looked through the scope.
he slowly drained my filled bladder and withdrew the scope.
he excused himself to wash him hands. Upon returning, re-gloved with new,
sterile gloves, he retrieved a sterile,18 fr. stainless steel sound,
one of a set of six sounds on the instrument tray ranging from 18 fr.
to 28fr. he applied Polysporin antibiotic ointment to the instrument
as a lubricant and began the insertion of the first of the three sounds
(18fr. 22fr. and 26fr.), each larger than the one before it. When him
examination was completed, he had me roll over on my tummy for him &
took my rectal temperature. I fell asleep. While the thermometer was in me,
he washed, sterilized, & dried him instruments.
