The new and improved (?) xHamster

Perhaps I am just one of those old dogs that has problems learning new tricks... I have really been trying to get into the groove with the new xHamster platform. Wait; let me back up, first I should state, for the record, I always found the old platform so simple to use. Everything on the homepage was accessible with a click or two. Everything was concisely displayed, no major searching or changing of screens to find what you needed. It was VERY user friendly. And in fact, as long as they allowed it, I always went to the bottom of the page to check the box for “Old xHamster. But with technology, things are always going to change. And one can't really complain about updates and changes to a free service anyway. It's free so you're getting everything you paid for, which is a free service. (And a good one.)

And don't get me wrong, there are things that I do like about the new xHamster. When you check out your news, the postings are much easier to see, and the previews of the photos are much larger when you click on a gallery. Those are really nice. And you can share photos and friends directly with friends. However... I find the navigating not always easy. Some things do seem UNNECESSARILY hard to find. Like comments. It took me a while to figure out where I could see the comments good folks left on my uploads. (So please no that if I didn't respond to someone's comment, I probably just didn't see it for a while.) I don't know why there's not a pull down for comments. It’s a FUNDAMENTAL part of the xHam experience. Also, the writing program seems to have glitches – for instance, I'll be in the middle of writing a comment and all of a sudden my comment will just disappear and I'll be taken back to the video or photo I was about to remark about… But hey like I said old dog new tricks, it certainly could be user error. I'm trying to navigate and learn to use this as well as I can. And I have been juggling a lot of jobs, circumstances, Etc, so I haven't been able to spend the large amounts of time focusing on learning this new platform. Perhaps over time I will get more comfortable with the program and learn to adapt to progress. (Just be patient with me, okay.)

And I would love to hear from other users about how they feel about the new platform, what they miss about the old, any tips you may have on navigating xHamster now…
