Why I STILL Love Kasey Chase.
Hello, friends.
In my end-of-year post for 2017 (see below) I wrote that it was a great time to be alive at the same time as my favourite porno performers, listing among them the beautiful star known to us as Kasey Chase.
I returned to xH and the world of porno last night after another some time away from here (me and my girlfriend have been spending a lot of time together and live a long distance apart, and life gets busy sometimes for us all, and, well, you know...) to discover that the girl who called herself Kasey passed away in November.
I never met her, never knew her, but she captivated me as a teenager when I started watching adult movies (Christ, she was only a few months older than me). Her performances, particularly those with older women, were beautiful and expressive and stunning and woke something in me.
Many of them are available on xH; several of them have been shared here by me. Last year I wrote a blog called 'Why I Love Kasey Chase', sharing some links (again, see below).
I've been sitting here for hours with a bottle of wine, reading her old Facebook posts (we weren't "friends" on there but she had an open page until recently and allowed outsiders to see and comment on her posts and photos).
I loved reading about her life away from porno - an industry which brought her a certain level of fame and popularity and, yes, notoriety, but very little money (so it goes).
About how she was in college and in a loving relationship and above all about the birth of her daughter a few months back, even though her pregnancy had been difficult and her little one had been suffering from health problems. She was clearly a gentle and loving wife and mother.
Sadly, I now know that some of the demons which had haunted her in the past had returned in recent months. For those who have suffered from addiction and moved on, one slip can lead to tragedy. So it was for 'Kasey Chase'.
On November 18 her husband posted on FB: "Desiré is in a c0ma and unfortunately she will not be waking up. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever laid my eyes on. She was extremely loving and so passionate. Honestly, words cannot explain the love we shared or the pain in my heart now.
"Desiré loved helping others, she would get the biggest smile knowing she could help someone out. she truly made the world a better place. Even after her passing she will be helping others have another chance by being an organ donor. through this tragedy, lives will be saved."
She died shortly afterwards.
