New Year- how long have you been here?
More importantly, how often do you visit this site? Seems like a quite a few of people from my friend list are not active anymore. Some I know are sick . I just wonder if it is worth posting pictures in this site anymore because the viewing definitely has dropped. I guess the video apps and vid shows like the ********** site have something to do with it.
People have asked me why I don't video chat in a site like that. " You could earn some cash..." they say. Let me explain here why I don't. First, it is a tremendous amount of time you have to spend before, during and after a session. You work 40 hours a week, plus house chores to upkeep your home, etc. You do not have time to put on make up, set up a camera, chose some nice flimsy, eye catching nothings and sit up for a few hours for a video session. Not going to happen. Maybe once a month or every 2 or 3 weeks but you come to my second reason: MOOD.
You have to be in the mood to be friendly and smiling to be in front of the camera. If you are not why is someone going to waste his time talking to you on the video?
I wouldn't do it for money because I have a decent paying job and seriously you would have to be in front of that vid for several hours every day to make a living out of it. I'd do it if once a month everyone I knew wanted to chat and have a good time having an online cocktail and reviewing pics or movies and then that is not a sexy video anymore is it? LOL
Anyways, I am planning a photo shoot tomorrow. I'm in the mood to take pics, takes a whole morning/afternoon. And when you are done you have galleries for a few months. Beats the video chat in my opinion.
