Trying to get my neighbor

Now that title can be a question also. How do you go about it in a straight world without giving yourself away. In a gay bar or bath they are there for the same reason .. But,,, you have a real cute married neighbor in his 80s you are totally in love with and it is like torture every time you see him as you can't just reach out and touch him . Of course you help him out when he or his wife needs and and you are in their good graces, but that doesn't get you to first base. And since no one but a few close friends even know about me I'm not about to put my reputation on the line and tell him I have the hots for him.
What does a person in the closet do in a case like this ?
Positive reinforcement . I do say call me for anything at anytime since they are in their 80s . I take him for a coffee if he is available . We have cocktails or night caps back and forth every so often . I guess the ball is in his court . By now he must have caught on or not or maybe he is in the same situation and afraid to make the first move tooooo.
The man who brought me out always told me never to make the first move in a straight situation and never to crap in my back yard.
So help me out ,,, what does a man do ? For now I'm going to look at a pic of him and j/o....................................................
