What is goin on?
I don't know wich is the point of writing this but i wanna do it anyway.
I previously apologize for my poor English writing skills.
Since like a few years/months ago Hamster's community have become a radical process of change and as an old user i have to admit, i feel pretty unconfortable about it.
What was once created as a platform with the porpouse to connect like minded people and have the possibility to freely talk about things that most of us cannot express in our ordinary lifes, share fantasies, experiences and even meet sometimes, it's turning into a "more sexualized instagram".
Just a mere shop window where we can greed for souless fake interactions like tributes, commissioned comments and many other things far from the spirit of what this place meant to be before.
The amount of people wich answer to my will of interactions with aggressive requests of those tributes (even the word repells me) is dramatically increasing, and many of them does refuse to talk/accept friendship if you not pay those tributes before. The most radical even insults or blocks you.
The singular event does not slightly bother me at all, i am plenty of friends here wich are incredibly interesting, charming and pleasant ; but what concerns me the most is the extension of this phenomenon, wich tells me alot about what we are becoming as humans.
It's really this what we want to be? Empty shells greedin for external validation and material gain in order to fill the void we let grow inside of us, is that a human being? I don't think so, it's just what this society want us to be, it's what media tells you you want to be but you are more of such a bounce of a pleasant profile page full of pretty pictures.
You are the bonds you create, the experiences you make, the things wich make you smile, cry and get angry for, the movies you watch, the foods you like to cook and much more.
I know it sounds pretty out of context writing about such topics on a porn site but it's wrong!
Hamster is just one of many places where we were used to express ourselves as humans in our totality, naked and honest but it's happening everywhere: socials, cinema and every kind of art is submitting to the logic of market.
It's like a poison and if we not reclaim our humanity, it will consume us from the roots since there ll be nothing left.
Know yourself, keep being yourself, talk with people, put effort in the bonds you create, read books and fight to stay human.
And most important: fuck this grotesque pantomime!
