Inspection
From the time my brother and I were of school-age, my Dad had this Sunday night ritual with us called, "Inspection."
He'd take both of us into the bathroom we shared and, one by one, put us in the bath tub and scrub us down. He'd lather up the wash cloth, clean out our ears and everything, and then have each of us bend over and spread our asses so could clean in there, too.
When we were finished and he dried us off, he'd grab a jar of Vasoline from the medicine cabinet, light a cigar or cigarette, and lead us back to our bedroom, naked.
Then he'd have us each bend over with our hands on our beds. With his smoke parked in the side of his jaw, he would open the can of Vasoline and dip his big thumb in it. He'd come over to each of us- me first and then my brother. He'd spread my cheeks with one hand, and put his greased thumb next to my asshole. He'd gently push his thumb inside me and then take it out.
If his thumb came out clean, he'd take his smoke from his mouth and lick off his thumb. That meant I had "passed" his "inspection" and could get into bed. Then he'd put his smoke back in his mouth, dip his thumb in the Vasoline and do the same thing to my brother.
If his thumb came out with shit on it, that meant I "failed" his "inspection." He'd make me lick off his thumb and go back into the bathroom and work my butt with the wash cloth until it was clean. He'd repeat his "inspection" until both of us "passed."
He told us he wanted both of us going to school the next day "clean."
About the time my brother and I were in junior high, my Dad started talking to us about the hair growing on our bodies and how it meant we were becoming men. Shortly afterwards, he told us that men could "inspect" themselves. This Sunday night ritual ended.
I remember sneaking cigarettes from his pack every once in a while, bathing, and drying off. Then I would lock the bathroom door. After lighting up, I'd dip my own thumb into some Vasoline and push it into my asshole. Then I'd lick it off, sit down on the toilet cover, and with that smoke dangling from my lips, beat off like a motherfucker, and lick the cum off my hand, too.
