Who is Atemi?
One could say I am my research; I live for martial arts, it is my blood. But by saying that, one is not at liberty to assume that mean hitting, grappling, and playing with swords; This is far more expansive: Sociology, spirituality, medicine, martial arts (heiho; 兵法) is all expansive and encompasis the human spirit and all that it is committed to. If it is a subject of depth, I have a massive respect for it and it will be incorporated into my understanding of heiho.
Polyamory (Pluralistic Lovers; 多元の愛)
I believe strongly in the principles that make polyamory possible: Trust, Communication, and non-ownership. My partners and I will be honest and forthcoming, we will do nothing that would jeopardize eachothers trust, and we do not own each other.
Amatsu Ryoho (Japanese Medicine; 天津療法)
I practice a system of ancient Japanese medicine, and of that system, massage is my favorite part of it. It is a system derived from the martial arts that I study and research, and accordingly by practicing massage, I'm practicing martial arts as well! In turn the opposite is also true.
Kinbaku (Tying Deeply; 緊縛)
This is Japanese-styled rope bondage in a sense. It is the practice of connection and sensualism with hemp or jute rope as the medium. It is something that has shows to be incredibly deep and profound and has frankly surprised me as such.
Both massage and kinbaku have shown to be interesting in that it allows for two people to be close and intimate without it becoming a sexual thing. A sort of middle ground between friendship and intimate relationship.
