Loving Death
I can feel the gentle warmth of her naked body against my back,
Between her tightening fingers and my throat there is no slack.



I clench at her wrists in desperation trying my best to remain steady,
But it soon becomes clear that I am at her complete and utter mercy.



Each following breath becomes increasingly more difficult to draw in,
My vision grows dark, faint and blurry as the world begins to spin.



I loved her with all of my heart and soul so I trusted her implicitly,
Because of her love for me she accepted to bring an end to my agony.



A single tear from her lovely cheek comes to land on my bare shoulder,
As the realization comes that she ended the life of her devoted lover.
