Hi everyone,

My name is Sarah and I'm 35 years old. I have been on t.blocker and a low dose of hormones for a few years now and have just seen my GP about referring me to the gender clinic.
As far as being transsexual is concerned it has not been easy for me, I spent over ten years of my life running away from who I am and consuming as much drugs as I could to forget. After realising that it just wasn't working and after self harming myself below the belt I came to the conclusion that it was either face my demons or carry on and more than likely end up dead.
I do not say this to depress any of you rather only to allow you to understand me better.
I have been off drugs for over four years now and allowing Sarah into my life was the best thing I ever did.
I met my boyfriend a little while ago and I would like to add that I am very happy with him.

I am not looking for any admirers or attention from men, I am not looking for any type of fun either.
I am more than happy to talk to other transsexual females and that is primarily the reason for me being here.

So any thing else you want or need to know please feel free to ask. I am very open about myself and will always answer truthfully and to the best of my ability.
