I have been into the Ds scene for about 16 years. I'm all about muttual respect, pleasure and trust.

My experience as a Dom allows me to be "The Director." What am I looking for? Well, so far I have had online friendships here and a few sexy online relationships. I have met a few people from Fet but not really attended anything as I can be pretty shy in crowds. There is a tendency for people to sometimes disappear from here and then come back. One can only imagine there are a variety of reasons but it can be startling and depressing sometimes if you have talked for sometime even only as friends.

Some of the people I have spoken to are in long term relationships and I won't do anything to place those in jeopardy. Essentially, distance and circumstances mean that a lot of what is engaged in is fantasy. Some people may still say that is cheating but in my experience, it often doesn't affect the core of people's relationships and might stop them from actually breaking up.

To that end, I am not seeing anyone aside from the occasional date. I don't really hook up. Casual sex hardly ever is casual. Not that I'm opposed but emotional content often is devoid unless it is your own gratification. And for some people that is good enough. As I said, I am not judging but I do tend to want some connection to another person.

I love an intelligent conversation about any and all other subjects out there as well. I do have a life outside if work, family and friends. My interests lay in writing, current affairs, movies and reading.
