I am a kind and sympathetic person. I like to have fun, when possible, otherwise get the experience and to be happy. I'm a bit shy by nature. About me...5'2", 31 years old, no children.

So I every few weeks I feel compelled to try my luck again on CL. I have failed so far, but I'm hoping today is my lucky day :)

More about me... I have a steady job and I am reliable and responsible. I work hard, often overtime, which makes it difficult to actually meet new people and maintain a relationship. I enjoy movies, museums, trying new restaurants and spending quiet time at home watching TV and having a few . I have a small circle of friends but I am mostly a loner and tend to be on the shy side when I first meet someone new. Trust me, the shyness goes away eventually and you might wish that it hadn't. :) I try to be friendly and kind but sometimes I am more bitchy and sarcastic than I mean to be. My friends say I am funny, interesting and quirky (I hate that word), but these are my friends, they have to say nice things. I have a car and rent a room from friends, so ideally, whoever I end up dating would have their own place but of course I can work something out if you are also in a roommate situation. I also enjoy walking and try to walk at least two miles five days a week. I also have a gym membership that I try to use at least a few times a week. I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy, but I still take pride in my appearance and I can do the dress up thing as well.

What I am looking for...I guess I am looking for my "average guy" counter-part. I am mostly attracted to white guy with dark hair. I like a thin to average build (I think guy are really hot). I'm not looking for a body-builder or pro-athlete, a few extra pounds is fine but I do try to eat healthy and take care of myself, so I would like the same in a partner. I would like someone who enjoys some of the same things I do, but I am always open to trying new things and learning about your interests. I am all about honesty and I believe friendship is important in any romantic relationship. Like I said before, I am shy so I generally prefer a person who is more out-going and doesn't mind directing the conversation, at least initially.
