Well, I know I'm a married guy, and that limits a lot of things right off the bat, but at the very least, who knows, you might make a great friendship out of this!

I'm a relatively attractive guy, height & weight proportional. I'm very well educated, but thankfully not snobbish about it! :) I've got a great sense of humor, I love movies, and I love books, and although I'm somewhat introverted at first, I open up *real* quickly when I'm with the right person. If you saw me in person you'd never guess I was into some of the things I am -- I'm clean-cut on the outside, but on the inside I've got a bit of a wild streak...

I'd like to avoid most strings, thank you kindly. But -- if you consider friendship, respect, and communication strings, then yes, I would like *some* strings attached.

I’m really good at listening. Wherever I go, home, or work, or out with friends or strangers, I become the de facto counselor. I do pay attention when people talk (although even with that I'm somehow horrible with names) and I'm very non-judgmental, so I tend to fall into that role.

I'm a really good cook, too, although I've had no formal training. I have many favorite dishes, but I suppose my strength is taking what's around me and making something really tasty and unique out of it.

I'm a pretty good thinker. I'm good at taking a problem, looking at it from all sides, considering short- and long-term goals, breaking the problem down and putting it together in a less broken way. I wish I could do that more proactively but I'm too often forced to do so reactively.

My prowess as a lover is, of course, a matter of public record.

I spend a lot of time thinking about everything. I mean, everything. My brain is always going. If I'm lucky I can tire myself out enough during the day so that I can fall asleep quickly - otherwise, the thoughts in my head keep me up at night. How could I have improved on dinner tonight? Will dogs ever be able to talk? How *does* one imagine 17-dimensional Calabi-Yao space? Is it up to 21 now? Is alternate universe me also up at night thinking about this?

On a typical Friday night I am out at a sporting event or at a fun restaurant or chillaxing at home with a Blu-ray or some Netflix.
