Demisexual - I am only sexually attracted to people I have formed an emotional connection with. This means, at a minimum, I must be good friends with you in order to be physically attracted to you.

Yes, I can recognize that a person is attractive, but that does not mean I would do anything physical with that person even if I could. In all honesty, the very thought scares the living crap out of me. I don't even like to hold hands or be hugged by someone I don't know and trust.

Pansexual - I do not pick partners based on birth gender or body parts - I'm more interested in the person inside. This means I'm attracted to me, wome, transgender folk, and those who identify as gender fluid or non-binary.

I am also not a race or gender supremacist. I'm more interested in the individual person, and in every group of people there are some wonderful, thoughtful, amazing people I'd love to know and be connected to - and some total asshats, douchebags, and psychopaths I wouldn't want to touch with a dirty barge pole. I don't think something that is decided as a matter of birth, that you had no choice over whatsoever, does anything to inherently make you "better" than anyone else.

Sapiosexual - I am attracted to and turned on by witty, intelligent people who can hold a conversation of more than one or two words at a time.

This is especially true if you happen to have a great sense of humor and share some of my nerdy, geeky interests.
