First experience tells me I have to lay down some ground rules: I will not answer messages that only consists of one line or contain multiple spelling errors. Not because I'm a grammar teacher, but because that kind of thing shows ignorance and disrespect.
Other than that - feel free to be open, honest and direct, as long as your mail is somewhat inventive and well thought out (and not just "yo, wanna do it?"). I know what kind of site this is and I'm ok with its general topic. Otherwise I wouldn't be here. :)
